Effect of various combinations of aperture diameter and pattern on concrete paver block

In the heavy Rainfall areas water – logging on roads is main cause for early damage of roads, which requires frequent maintenance. permeable concrete block pavement (PCBP), through joints percolated with that reducing storm runoff, urban heat island effects, and increasing groundwater recharge. To increase rate infiltration in PCBPs, paver (CPB) an aperture was developed. study effect aperture, experimental program conducted CPBs different combinations diameter pattern, by keeping area as constant. These blocks were tested compressive strength, split tensile strength absorption. CPBs, there no significant change absorption values. Split impacted adversely number apertures, to improve this property appropriate pattern should be adopted.
